From his early days on the Helpdesk Team to his current role as Consumables Co-ordinator, he is known for his dedication, resilience, and passion for problem-solving. Can you tell us a little bit about your career journey so far?

Absolutely! It all started back in 2015 when I joined the Help Desk Team. Over time, I started to assist the Consumables Manager and cover for her whenever she was out. As time went on, she started trusting me with more tasks. When she moved on, I stepped into being the Consumables Administrator. When the team grew, I stepped into my current role as Consumables Co-ordinator.

 

What age were you when you started your first role at Spotless?

I was 19 when I started at Spotless back in 2015. The charity Barnardo’s approached Spotless to give me an interview after I completed an administration training course with them. It feels like a lifetime ago now! It definitely demanded a strong work ethic, but I was up for the challenge and just kept pushing forward.

 

Can you describe your current role at Spotless?

Currently, I work as the Coordinator of Consumables, handling inventory management for cleaning materials and equipment, including machinery. In recent times, I have also been helping with integrating new technologies, like robotics, into our operations for clients.

 

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I'm all about problem-solving and lending a hand to my teammates. Whether it's helping the sales team with a quote, ironing out delivery hiccups, or making sure everything's running smoothly. I thrive on tackling challenges and seeing my colleagues succeed.

 

Can you share any memorable moments from your time at Spotless?

One memorable aspect is the camaraderie among colleagues, and we have all bonded during social events over the years. Building relationships and sharing experiences with coworkers has made my time here enjoyable. Also, witnessing the growth and evolution of Spotless over the years has been rewarding.

 

Do you believe working at Spotless has benefited your life?

Oh, it's been huge! I've not only gained valuable experience and made some lifelong friendships, but I've also had the chance to grow personally and professionally. Plus, the variety in my role keeps things interesting, and I never find myself stuck in a rut. It's been a real game-changer for me.
